Touristic hotel in a very picturesque area close enough to train station and a stream in Hokkaido and the bus stop. New-fashioned and tidy rooms with relaxing views, good food, efficient staff. Comfortable bed, a safe box, TV, and a fridge in the room.

I stayed at a large hotel near the ropeway for a few nights and had a wonderful experience. The onsen facilities were top-notch, with a very cozy and spacious atmosphere. The staff, especially one older gentleman who prepared the tatami mattresses, deserves special recognition for their behind-the-scenes work. The hotel's lobby and lounge were impressive, and the rooms, although a bit small, provided a lovely view of the river below. The buffet-style meals offered a wide variety of options and were great value for money. Additionally, the hotel had a small shop selling local products and souvenirs.
Would recommend this hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located near the popular tourist attractions in the area, such as the ropeway and the Daisetsuzan national park. The onsen facilities were amazing, with both indoor and outdoor hot tubs providing a tranquil and relaxing experience. The buffet-style meals offered a wide variety of delicious options, exceeding my expectations.
During my stay, the elevators were often crowded, resulting in long waits. Additionally, there were times when announcements were only made in Japanese, making it difficult for non-Japanese speakers to understand.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The room was big, especially for Japan, with a comfortable bed and a cozy couch. The large windows allowed plenty of natural light and offered a stunning view of the mountains across the road, where deer would often wander past. It was just a short walk to the Snow Festival site, which was very convenient. The baths at the hotel were lovely, and I appreciated that the genders swapped sides overnight, allowing me to experience both bathing areas. The outside baths were also a nice touch, even though they were slightly smaller in the left bathing area. The buffet was well-managed, and the food was promptly replenished.
Don't have any issues at all.

The large windows provided plenty of natural light and offered breathtaking views of the mountains and passing deer. The short walk to the Snow Festival site was convenient and enjoyable. The baths were a highlight, with the unique feature of swapping genders overnight, allowing us to experience both sides. We loved the outside baths, even though they were slightly smaller in the left bathing area. The buffet was well-managed with quick replenishment and a wide variety of delicious food. the traditional Japanese experience was top-notch, with friendly staff who spoke English and an on-site onsen that offered different types of baths, including private ones.
Nothing, it is perfect.

The facilities were top-notch and the Modern Japanese style room exceeded our expectations. The onsen was absolutely superb, even better than what we saw in the pictures. The staff at this venue were extremely friendly and always made us feel welcome. The buffet offered a wide variety of options, and we highly recommend trying the ice-cream, it was delicious. The free shuttle bus transportation provided convenience and all the arrangements went smoothly. We also had the opportunity to visit the partner hotel, Choyo Tei, via the shuttle bus. The fancier interior, great onsen, and fantastic buffet at Choyo Tei were definitely worth experiencing. Don't miss out on the soup curry and ghenkis Khan, they were delightful.
We highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
